Description
Delightful vintage Shorter and Son “Pirate Maid” D’Oyly Carte Gilbert and Sullivan Pirates of Penzance character jug. This was designed by Clarice Cliff in close collaboration with Shorters designer Betty Silvester. It is marked on the bottom, 23cm H, very good condition. A unique piece is Staffordshire pottery rare find.
