Original 1878 share certificate for the Waterford, Dungarvan and Lismore Railway Company.
The Waterford, Dungarvan & Lismore Railway Company, was set-up in 1872. The 43 mile stretch of railway ran from Waterford City with stops at Kilmeadan, Kilmacthomas, Durrow and Stradbally, Dungarvan, Cappagh, Cappoquin and Lismore. The route closed in the 1960s and is now home to the Waterford Greenway.
In good condition with normal signs of age (visible in the photo).
Looks well mounted and framed. Would make an excellent souvenir or gift.
