Georgian (or George III style) brass-bound mahogany oval wine cooler (or cellarette) on a stand, dating typically from the late 18th to early 19th century.Design & Construction: It features coopered mahogany construction bound with thick horizontal brass bands, traditionally fitted with an interior lead or copper lining to hold ice and chill wine bottles at the dining table.Hardware & Details: Cast brass lion mask ring handles are mounted on the sides for lifting, and the entire tub is raised on a matching splayed or tapered leg stand, often terminating in brass castors
