Description

For a sale unusual set of medals (full entitlement) to James Hayes. He served with the Connaught Rangers during the WW1 (BWM and VM) and afterwards with RASC in India (at least until 1925). His medals are swing mounted for display.

India General Service Medal issued under Army Order 177 of 1925 and delivered 9 Apr 1926. Additional information – still serving then Acting Sergeant, No. 21 (Indian) Motor Transport Company. Additional Information To No. 35 (Indian) Motor Transport Company, 16/10/1923. Entry crossed through at source, Served During Qualifying Period No. 25 (Indian) Motor Transport Company.
