MONTEGO is an excellent electric bicycle brand which could be fitted with battery.

I've included an image of a rear rack with battery and charger which can be found on several websites.

Works perfectly well as is and if you wanted to, you could get a battery and charger at a later date.

Would suit somebody who is tall and maybe no less than 5ft.

I believe a replacement battery with a charger can be purchased and the price reflects that.
If I had the battery and charger I would be looking at €750.

Is the battery missing completely or just a dead battery.
Do you know the model type of battery it takes .
Can you put up more photos of the battery box area and the type of connections.

To answer your queries......I sold several electric bikes at the one time to a buyer and unfortunately, that buyer took the battery and charger of the Montego - I'd like to think it was unintentional and unfortunately I had no way of contacting the buyer.

I am unable to tell you the battery model type.

In daylight tomorrow, I will take photos of the battery box and post them. In the meantime you can get an idea of the box in a couple of the photographs. You can see a rubber gromit on the side of the box where you can plug in the charger.

Weather was bad here yesterday so I added a few photos today including a replacement rear rack complete with battery and charger. There are several online websites advertising them.
