When my Husband’s electric bike broke at the frame, I suggested he deconstruct it and use his old giant bike to convert the parts into a new electric bike. He did this and it worked brilliantly until he put it in the car and the cable from the motor broke. It’s been 6 months waiting for him to do something about it, he said he was going to bring it to the dump, but that would be a terrible shame. The bike itself is perfect, the battery is brand new (he’d only just replaced it).

@ajbport yes it does. It’s a great bike. Which is why we took the opportunity to convert it to an electric bike. We now have too many bikes though so somethings got to go.

@Mitchalexx it’s in bits and pieces that’s the whole problem. The cable snapped inside the motor. My husband tried to fix it. If somebody is handier than him, they might give it a go.
