I’m fairly sure you can install the calliper on either front or rear, whatever you choose, as long as your forks and rear of bike have the same U brake mounting bits.

Interesting, could have sworn i remember swapping mine back in the day. It’s more than likely a rear calliper though? I don’t have a bmx I could try fit it to so can’t check
