Description

Father Mario Borrelli (1922–2007), known as the “priest of the street children of Naples”, devoted his life to rescuing and caring for abandoned children in post-war Italy. His autobiography, written with Anthony Thorne, became an important social history document of poverty, resilience, and reform in Naples.

This first edition is a piece of Catholic history, Italian post-war history, and social reform literature.
