Chinese Antique Silk Shawl

A magnificent Chinese antique silk shawl dating to around the 1950s.

One side is crafted from luminous silk in a soft, delicate peach-pink tone, with elegant woven floral motifs. The reverse is a deep rust red, creating a rich and dramatic contrast. Finished with long black fringe, it has an irregular triangular shape measuring approximately 240 × 138 × 232 cm (excluding the fringe).

An exceptionally large and striking piece, it can be worn as a luxurious shawl or displayed as a unique textile artwork in an interior. Draped over an antique chair, across a sofa, at the end of a bed, or hung on a wall, it instantly adds warmth, texture and timeless character to any space.
