Custom Made Serving Boards - Exotic Woods Included on Request

This serving board is one of my favourite pieces I’ve made recently. It’s handcrafted using a beautiful mix of walnut, maple, cherry, mahogany, oak, and purpleheart, giving it a really eye-catching blend of colours and grain.

Every stripe is hand-selected, glued, sanded, and finished in my workshop, so each board comes out completely unique.

I’ve included a touch of exotic purpleheart for its beautiful colour and the way it contrasts with the other woods. It’s a more expensive hardwood, but it adds a lovely pop of character to the board and really brings the whole piece together.

This particular board is 22mm thick, made exactly to a customer’s request, and it turned out absolutely gorgeous. The mix of woods works so well together and looks great on any kitchen counter. It’s perfect for serving, prepping food, or just adding a bit of natural style to your space.

I finish all my boards with a food-safe oil and wax blend that brings out the grain and helps protect the wood for everyday use.
