If the seller wants to sell meet him or don't buy. He'll want you to click on a link or pay through PayPal friend and family.

@DDigidy Why do you think that? I recently sold another item on Adverts without any issues. Why are you saying it's a scam? You can pay using a secure payment method with buyer protection if that makes you feel more comfortable

If someone meet you and you make a sale, then I suggest you ask them to give you feedback.

For posting a €300 to with a non-standard Irish plug on it (that’s a European plug) implies it wasn’t bought in Ireland as you say so there’s a lot about what you actually have posted with screamss scam
