WANTED – Burrs (Burls), Figured Hardwood & Unusual Timber
I'm looking to buy burrs (burls), figured hardwood and unusual timber

A burl (also called a burr) is a rounded growth on a tree that contains beautifully swirled and highly figured grain, making it valuable for woodworking, knife handles, jewellery and woodturning.

I'm particularly interested in:
Ash burr
Yew burr
Oak burr
Elm burr
Beech burr
Walnut
Cherry
Apple
Pear

Any other hardwood with exceptional figure
I'm happy to buy:
Whole burrs
Logs with burrs attached
Tree sections with unusual grain or crotch figure
Freshly cut or seasoned timber

If you're a tree surgeon, farmer, estate owner, sawmill, landscaper or private individual with unusual hardwood, I'd love to hear from you.

Please send:
A few clear photos
Approximate dimensions
Your location
Your asking price (if you have one)

Pictures are examples of the tree burls/burrs

I'm based in County Meath but can travel if not too far or arrange collection for the right timber.
Fast payment, honest dealing and prompt collection.

Thank you!
