Hi
Could you post more info on the 48v module and/or share the QR code on it?
Also any information on the built in bms
Thanks

@franktp: Hi, Lithium batteries come from the liquidation of a Battery company that made them for transport equipment for large Mining companies. They are made to the highest standards using Grade A Cells and being sold at a big discount. No qr code available.
@dennis cappleman: Hi, thanks for your inquiry. Delivery for all battery sizes is Euro 25. Thay are quite heavy and have to be shipped by special delivery.
@franktp: Hi, The most popular Victron Charger / Inverter sold with these 48v batteries is the Victron Multiplus 2 48Vn 300032amp 230V . I sell them at cost with battery purchase at Euro 499.00. They are very robust with 5 year factory warranty. Cheaper inverters have proved to be a false economy in the medium to long term.
@gisit: Hi, delivery to Cork for all batteries is Euro 25 because of weight and requires special delivery. Buying larger capacity battery is more cost-effective if possible.
@franktp: battery packs contain BAK N21700-45D 4500mah - 60A cells. An LFP 21700 cell combines the 21700 cylindrical physical size (21 mm in diameter and 70 mm in length) with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) chemistry.
Hi,
Thanks for the additional information on the BAK cells.
I’m interested in potentially using one of these modules for a standalone solar installation, but I need to establish the exact electrical specifications before choosing a suitable inverter.
Could you clarify a few things about the battery modules?
1. Are these configured as 16 cells in series (16S)?
2. Is the nominal pack voltage 57.6V, with a maximum charging voltage of 67.2V?
3. What is the minimum recommended pack voltage / BMS low-voltage cut-off?
4. What charging voltage does the built-in BMS allow?
5. Is the BMS programmable, or are the charge and discharge limits fixed?
6. What are the maximum continuous charge and discharge currents?
7. Does the BMS have CAN or RS485 communication?
Do you have a wiring diagram, BMS specification or technical datasheet for the complete battery module?
I’m particularly interested in confirming the actual operating voltage and charging limits, as I need to find an inverter that is compatible with the battery chemistry.
Thanks

1. Are these configured as 16 cells in series (16S)? - Yes
2. Is the nominal pack voltage 57.6V, with a maximum charging voltage of 67.2V? - Yes
3. What is the minimum recommended pack voltage / BMS low-voltage cut-off? 44V ,2.75 per cell
4. What charging voltage does the built-in BMS allow?- unknown - clients have been using Victron Multiplus 2 and Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/100 for charging / discharging.
5. Is the BMS programmable, or are the charge and discharge limits fixed? No - No documentation available when batteries were sourced.
6. What are the maximum continuous charge and discharge currents? - Using Victron Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/100 / Multiplus 2
7. Does the BMS have CAN or RS485 communication? Using Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/100 / Multiplus 2 for comms
Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/100 / Multiplus 2 have been used successfully with large array of battery modules linked in parallel.
Built in BMS appears to be protecting Battery modules but as actual effects / control / docs unknown, I am using Victron equipment successfully to operate.
Hope this helps John.

Could you accept the offer please, I notice that the cells are not soldered/fused to the tabs is that true?
@mmar2526: Hi, The batteries are triple wire fused by automated robotic production line on top and bottom ,module is infused and sealed with fire retardant foam. The internal photo's are for information purposes only. John0892226352
