Hi there, I wanted to inquire if you had these batteries since new, and would you know approximately how many charge cycles these batteries have ?
Many thanks
Many thanks
@moizhusain Hi, both were new when installed.
The first 5kw was installed in August '24 so that's almost 800 days ago. The second was added in June 25 so around 500 days ago.
I don't discharge to the grid so at max it's one cycle per day. But even then not every day fully cycles. My normal daily routine is to top up on cheap EV night rate and let them be used when needed outside that window. So in winter they would normally get all used up, but in the summer they would often hold well above 50%.

Many thanks for your response. Would the sale include battery to inverter cable ?
Additionally, can you advise if it is possible to view the battery status and health via dyness App
Thanks

@moizhusain The cables to the inverter aren't included, just what's in the picture, they were re-used when installing the new batteries.
I updated to a larger battery but it's a different brand, so I didn't want to mix them with these Dyness ones. That's the only reason I'm selling these. They never gave me any issues.
The cables to connect battery 1 to battery 2 are there, but they are short.
I never connected to the Dyness app. I just had the solis app. But according to Google it might still be possible to connect to the Dyness app even after they were disconnected from the inverter.
I've downloaded it now and I'll try after the storm has passed.

@Timwhim Hi Tim,
I never checked the SOH before they were disconnected. I'll see if that is still possible to get without reconnecting them. But they've never given any trouble and haven't done too many cycles so I expect it to be fine.

Hello. I’m the guy who uninstalled these. SOH based on use would be well above 90 and 95%. These batteries were used lightly.
Just as an FYI, any standard CAT5 or CAT6 cable will serve as an inverter comms cable. Everything else, including all the nuts and washers were kept safely with the batteries for resale.
Good luck
