Description
Original late-1970s / early-1980s Casio SL-8B electronic calculator, complete with original box, instruction leaflet and warranty card.
Compact fold-out “wallet” design in classic burgundy plastic. 8-digit LCD display, dual power (solar + high-power solar cell), memory, percentage and full arithmetic functions. Made in Japan by Casio Computer Co. Ltd.
These early solar calculators are increasingly hard to find complete and boxed. Most surviving examples have lost their packaging and paperwork over the decades. This one remains a clean, original set – highly desirable for collectors of vintage Casio electronics, early solar technology and Japanese design from the golden era of pocket calculators.
