Vintage Sony Walkman Sports WM-AF59. Very sturdy/robust. I put batteries in it & unfortunately it did not turn on. (Old batteries still inside)

Iconic retro late 1980s Sony Walkman Sports (Model WM-AF59) AM/FM Radio Cassette Player in the classic bright yellow rugged casing.

This is a highly collectible set because it includes the original matching yellow Sony MDR-W08 headphones, which are incredibly rare to find still paired with the unit.

Cosmetic condition is fantastic. The yellow casing is bright, the battery compartment is completely clean with no corrosion, and the headphone foam is still present.

I tested it with new batteries at 10am on the 2nd of September 2026. It didn't turn on. There was old batteries inside.
