VT VMC-10/2 | 10" CRT Monitor | Retro Gaming

Description

This listing is for a VT VMC-10/2 CRT monitor in excellent working condition. Ideal for retro gaming or watching classic 4:3 content.

The unit does not feature RGBS input (possible via modification) but the S-Video input produces an impressively sharp image.

The tube is in excellent condition with very bright, vibrant colors. The compact size renders it ideal for use on a desk! Each unit is individually calibrated prior to sale.

I have two units available for sale.

Pricing reflects a significant reduction over the going value of this monitor on other platforms and a 14-day warranty is included with each unit.

I can meet buyers for collection (no fee) in Blessington, Saggart, Citywest Shopping Center, Naas or The Square in Tallaght. Delivery to other locations can be arranged but a fee will apply depending upon distance.

I can accept payment via Revolut, PayPal, SEPA transfer or cash.

Hi :) hard to find info about this monitor. Is it compatible with a PS2? And I assume it’s 240p / 480i?
Weeb_Labs 1 month ago
@rianndig Hello. Yes, you are correct on both counts!

Thank you for the response, How hard would it be to hook this up to a modern PC to display 4:3 content on it? Or is that kind of not really possible? Total noob with CRT stuff.
Weeb_Labs 1 month ago
@rianndig You can absolutely connect this to a modern PC. You would need to purchase a HDMI or DisplayPort to Composite or S-Video transcoder. Alternatively you could use an older secondary GPU with onboard Composite or S-Video output.

Hi there sorry to make an offer when I'm not actually looking to buy but I heard you do CRT repairs? I had a CRT arrive from Ebay that won't turn on and was wondering what the likelihood of getting it repaired would be whether its something you could do or if you know anyone who could? I live in Kilkenny
