Authentic Edwardian gentleman's leather vanity case, dating to approximately 1900–1915. A superb original piece featuring quality craftsmanship, solid brass hardware, twin locking catches and the original "R.A." monogram to the lid.

Originally made as a gentleman's travelling vanity case, the fitted interior would once have housed grooming accessories. The interior now shows age-related wear and is incomplete, but it still retains its original layout and antique character.
The exterior has developed a wonderful genuine patina from over a century of use, making it a beautiful decorative statement. It would look superb in a period home, library, hallway, study or boutique, bringing authentic Edwardian or late Victorian character and an elegant, timeless feel to any interior.
A surviving L.N.E.R. (London & North Eastern Railway) luggage label remains attached, adding further historical charm and provenance.
