The rich, dark patina of the original Edwardian wood creates a stunning contrast against the modern patterned removable backdrop.
Excellent structural condition~ the woodwork retains its original patina.

Is the paper covering the backboard of the cabinet original or has it been added? Many thanks

@Jacksie hello, the antique dealer removed the original fabric that was on the back of the cabinet. He replaced it with wall paper. I liked the idea as it can removed easily and replaced to suit the decor in any room. Thank you for the enquiry.
Kind regards

@Jacksie Hi I just came across another Edwardian Display Cabinet with antique dealer Treasuretrove.ie It is similar style to my one but it does have the fabric attached to the back. If you’re interested the ref # is 16002. Hope this helps…
Best wishes
