Antique Solid Mahogany Sideboard – Victorian / Georgian Revival Style

Purchased it in an antique shop for €4000. Really don't want to sell however we are downsizing and it wont fit in the new house.

We wont be moving for a while so not in a huge rush to sell. No silly offers.

Beautiful antique solid mahogany sideboard featuring stunning flame mahogany grain, carved base details, and a polished top with raised back panel. This is a very heavy, high-quality piece with excellent craftsmanship and strong period character.

Plenty of internal storage behind panelled doors, making it both practical and a real statement piece. Would suit a period home, hallway, dining room, or as a standout feature in a modern interior.

@MF2026 Hi, im selling on behalf of my parents so im not sure exactly. Im not sure if they will remember. They were told it was a very old piece and they bought it from a genuine antique dealer. I will ask them tomorrow and get back to you. I will send u the name of the antique shop where they purchased it. But no it is not a remake or replica. You can come view if you like

@MF2026 they bought it in gartland antiques in Broomfield about 25 years ago. They can't remember the exact age but they were told it was very old. It has solid lead drawers showing its genuine age.

Hi - thank you for all the information. The sideboard is exactly what I am looking for - but... I have 187cms, so I am short a very small amount to fit the sideboard in. I spent yesterday moving furniture around to see if I could fit it a different way but nothing worked. I am truly dissappointed, but it just wont fit. So very reluctantly I have to say it wont work for me. I hope the sale goes well for you and you get a buyer soon. Maeve
