“Briglin Pottery was a London-based studio founded in 1948 by Brigitte Appleby and Eileen Lewenstein, operating until 1990. Known for affordable, functional earthenware with rustic, white-glazed, and wax-resist designs, it was a prominent mid-century workshop, producing up to 3,000 pieces weekly at its peak. It was a key training ground for potters and is now collected for its distinct, cozy style.”
