Can I know how much space is there between the drawers on both the side in the middle? I would like to know this to check if the chair I have will fit in.

Hiya, could you measure the space between the drawers where the person sits? My husbands current mid century desk is a bit tight for him to there and so looking for more leg room for him. Thanks:)
