Mid Century Modern Pair Aluminium Tulip Taper Candlesticks

An exceptional pair of mid-century modern "Tulip" or "Trumpet" style taper candle holders similar to those designed by the legendary Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs.
Featuring a fluid, minimalist silhouette, these iconic Scandinavian modern pillars flare beautifully from a wide circular bell base into sleek, slender trumpet stems. They are crafted from heavy, solid cast zinc and heavily silver electroplated to achieve a stunning mirror-like reflective finish. Both bases are properly authenticated on the underside with the crisp vintage maker stamp: "Dansk Designs Japan EP Zinc". These elegant pieces are designed exclusively to hold traditional vintage 1/4-inch diameter Danish "Tiny Taper" candles. A quintessential statement set for any curated Danish modern sideboard, dining table, or mantel collection. I love the simple lines and the mid-century design. Simply sophisticated

The finish retains a shine across most of the surface. Shows minor tarnish, faint handling scuffs, and a small, localized spot of plating wear/pitting on the narrow stem of one holder (see close-up photos). No major dents, deep structural scratches
