The name HIFU, or High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, means working through concentrated and intense ultrasonic waves.

The HIFU technology itself has been used in medicine for 20 years to remove tumors, e.g. prostate cancer. It has been used in aesthetic medicine for 4 years and its popularity is increasing.
The energy of the ultrasonic wave, making the cells vibrate, leads to their heating at 60-70 degrees Celsius, which leads to tissue coagulation and stimulation of collagen fibers.

Ultrasound affects only the SMAS muscle layer. Other layers of the skin are not burdened. In this way, the body is stimulated to take a natural defense and produce new collagen, and as a result, to improve skin tone.
