Older Jacobsen 22” professional walk-behind greens mower fitted with a Honda GX120 4.0HP / 118cc petrol engine.

This mower has been in storage for some time and has not been tested, so I cannot confirm whether the engine or mower is currently working.

It is being sold as seen, for repair/restoration or parts.

As shown in the photographs, there is considerable age-related wear and surface rust throughout. It would require attention before use.

Heavy, professional-quality cylinder/reel mower originally designed for golf greens and fine turf.

Hi before we agree, could you just check whether the engine turns over on the pull cord and whether the cutting cylinder/reel turns freely and isn’t seized? I’m not worried if it doesn’t start as I’m happy to work on it as soon as I know that we’ll discuss the price

Hi the reels turn not freely but they so turn. The pull cord snapped off about 6 months ago but the last time my partner went to start it the engine nearly ran you could hear it trying to start If that’s what you mean. I don’t think the reels are seized as it’s turning takes a bit of pressure to turn but they do turn. Thanks
