Why this piano and model (BL-71) stands out
• Japanese craftsmanship. The BL-71 is a high-end upright made in Japan by Kawai between 1973 and 1979. It belongs to the BL series, which is known for durability, solid craftsmanship and a warm, expressive sound.
• Exceptional size and power. At about 1.31 m tall, it is a large upright piano and as such produces remarkable power for an upright. The larger scale gives a fuller, richer tone than most compact uprights.
