Fractal Audio FM9 Turbo

Description

Selling my Fractal Audio FM9 Turbo pedalboard.

Bought new from G66 Europe in mid-2023 (receipt included). It’s in excellent condition and still has the protective stickers on the screen.

Used mainly at home and in the studio, and also for some recordings with my band Uragh (You can hear it on any streaming platform the results if interested).

This is the FM9 Turbo and not the Mk II, the only difference is the Mk II has slightly larger font on the display. Everything else is the same.

Selling because I picked up an FM3, which suits my needs better for portability. A bit of a shame selling this one but this unit has more power overall and deserves to be properly used. If you know Quad Cortex and similars you know what this can do.

Meet-up/collection only. Can meet around Dublin, or a bit outside Dublin if reasonable (with petrol covered).

@lynchjani: hey thank you for the offer! €1,500 is too low unfortunately. I do have the FM3 Mk II (which is my main pedalboard now) and although the increased font is kind of nice I don't really think it's a game changer - for me at least of course.

Sound modeling wise the processing power in this unit goes as far as it can get in the portable form, the Turbo version in fact had a big game change mod in processing from the old original FM9

Fm9 turbo is the mk1 which does have the bigger font, are you sure it’s the turbo, it will say it on the start screen if it just says fm9 then it’s the original, which hasn’t got the font bigger,

@mjk40: it is the Turbo yes, I’m due to post a photo with it turned on so I will do it later. Just in case I have the receipt bought from new from G66.eu from 2024

@mjk40: Added the photos. No this is not the bigger font size, FM9 Turbo has normal font, FM9 Turbo MkII is the one with bigger font and this is the only difference, processing power, updates, etc are all the same. From the official Fractal Audio wiki:

"Announced in February 2024. The FM9 Mark II Turbo is the same as the Turbo edition, with larger, easier-to-read footswitch "mini-displays" with almost double the viewing area.

Aside from the new footswitch displays, the FM9 Mark II Turbo features the same specifications as the FM9 Turbo.

There are no upgrade options."

I have the turbo mk1 and it’s simple to dial in the bigger font size, I know this because I have one, I was thinking of getting another for backup on live shows

If you do want the bigger font size on your display just turn the B knob to the size you want

@mjk40: Cheers I will check it out later. I got my FM3 MkII Turbo for same backup reasons, but I found myself using it more than the FM9 as I value the compact size. The FM9 I use to experiment with more effects, dual amp, etc and leave it by my desk but I'm not even using it that much

Unfortunately I'm really holding myself to any new gear as I'm in the need of the money now, still dreading the day I sell this and also my other listed LTD. Hi just want to make sure this is a turbo where the dsp power is 10 percent improved like the mark 2 from the original ? dont care the scribble strips are smaller ... Thanks Daniel.
