Bass Trap Filling Material Rockwool 3000 PA

Description

- Collection Only.

- The material amount is same as buying a single pack, but it is cut to random pieces like 10- 20 - 30cm.

- This offfer is for glasswool by knauf that has a 2500-3000 PA flow resistivity, thats left over from treating my room.

- This value is ideal for low frequency absorbtion based on porous absorber calculator.

- It was purchased 3 months ago and kept sealed in the room.

- It can cover about 6 square meter and weighs around 8.5 kg

- Since it will be used for filling, this should not be an issue.

- Best performance is reached with deep traps. starting from 30cm.

- I will give out a few bags of insulation material for mid frequencies as well.

Hello, I see that you have experience in room acoustics . I have a question, what wool should I use to fill the void in the room upstairs in the floor, I have about 30 cm of space to fill it with wool, what properties of wool should I look for? I have resonances in the bass coming from the floor.
Ozkan Ozmen 10 months ago
@darcez Glass wool or Rock wool. Between 9kg to 15kg per cubic meter is the best remedy for bass. You can see the cubic meter values on the website when you look for insulation material.

Have you any more photos? Reason is I am doing a project to reduce a 150mm diameter vent to 100mm diameter because there is too much noise coming in and 150mm is way too big for a box room. So when I put in 100mm waven pipe, I'll have 25mm gap around the inner pipe to fill. I just want to get an idea if this can do the job? Many thanks

@breako Hi there, the wool has randomly cut pieces ranging from 10 to 30 cm. Depth is ranging from 10-17cm
