Sifam Peak Programme Meters used in it are no longer manufactured and now cost a lot so it's getting really hard to get those. Each Sifam meter itself is around €450, this one has two plus electronic inside, well shielded box etc. I was curious how its build inside and its build like tank. This range of PPMs utilise mild steel enclosures to provide effective screening when used in proximity to colour monitors or VDUs. Care should still be exercised however when used in extremely close proximity to colour screens as some stray magnetic field may be present around the visible meter glass aperture. Features two input connectors (stereo or two channel use), two loop-out connectors, two 32AF meters. Incorporates two overload LEDs to indicate the presence of signals which exceed a preset threshold (factory set at +8dBu). This type has no A/B M/S switching. To allow the meters to be used in-line, input connectors have corresponding loop-out connectors wired in parallel. They are illuminated using appropriate LED illumination kits. I had it for sale while ago but I got annoyed by some silly comments. Now back for sale. One of the picture show how large it is next to some of my equipment. Size and weight is pretty substantial. Check specs for details. I would prefer local deal, its build like tank but its precise device and I worry a bit about postage.
