Key Specifications & Design

• Type: Open-back, circum-aural (over-ear) studio reference headphones
• Drivers: 50mm dynamic neodymium drivers, matched left/right within ±1 dB SPL tolerance
• Impedance & Sensitivity: 32 ohms impedance with around 108–109 dB sensitivity, making them very easy to drive straight from a phone, tablet, or laptop without needing a heavy external amp
• Build Materials: American walnut wood ear cups, stainless steel spring band, and self-adjusting artificial leather straps.
• Repairability: Famously user-serviceable with standard tools, allowing you to replace parts at home.

Sound Profile

• Frequency Response: Generally flat, transparent, and neutral (20 Hz – 20 kHz) with a slightly warm, organic timbre.
• Low End: Offers a controlled, accurate bass response with good sub-bass extension, though it doesn't "boom" or slam excessively like consumer-tuned headphones.
• Mids & Treble: Clean, centered midrange with a non-fatiguing treble roll-off that prevents ear strain during long mixing sessions, though some reviewers note occasional upper-mid/treble forwardness on bright recordings.
