The Long Cast Expanse LS 12ft lure rod has been designed for long range shore fishing for bass and other species.

Developed to tackle the rugged, rocky Portuguese shoreline, the Expanse has proven itself to be an exceptional rod when long distance casting is required or in challenging conditions.

The 2-piece, 30T Japanese Toray carbon blank is perfectly suited to fishing from the surf or rocks, where extra distance can be the difference between a successful day’s fishing and failure.

The 15 to 60g casting range is perfect for the lures regularly used for UK and European bass fishing, or when other pelagic species abroad are feeding on smaller bait fish. The fast action and medium-stiff tip provides all the control and feedback required to work both surface and sub-surface lures at ranges beyond the reach of most other anglers.
With its 3 kg deadlift capacity the Expanse LS is able to lift smaller fish from the water from rocky ledges or in difficult conditions, allowing you to successfully and safely land more of your catches.

Fitted with the same SIC Long Cast Micro Guide System and 70cm EVA handle as the more powerful Todos, the Expanse is well equipped to handle any bass you are likely to encounter.

Paired with a 2500 to 4500 size reel and 15 to 30lb braid, the Expanse LS add a long range capability to your fishing arsenal.
