I have only 2 modules left from front stack ( without exstra brackets like rear stack has) from 40 kw nissan leaf

Will work, if you use even new ones.. But aftet battery modules mixing (old vs newish) will cause capacity loss- you will loose in driving distance car range, because healthier cells wont be able fully discharge (or weaker cells fully charge)
threshold will looks something like: battery behave when you charge and discharge) will be between somewhere 80?fully charged and 20? fully discharged so your battery will perform like 60? of its total capacity


Best scenario is when: one or two modules gone and need replace ,then you can choos slightly healthier or weaker modules
As BMS will over balance them overall but will take, (can take) up to 6 month driving to equalaze cells..
Best overall find same percentage degraded cells and fit in

Chineese (Alibaba) now sell cells ( original modules) for 40kw and 24 kw leafs, new ones
i did communicate to sellers via emails and they recommend repace all 24 modules for new one, dont mix and mach new vs old ones.. (Will be big imbalance, lost of range )
Replace whole pack 24 modules from china with door to door delivery for 40 kw leaf will cost 3500 euro 24 kw arroind 2000 euro..
PS: Quote feom china for modules plus delivery was before mess with Iran.
