It is a device created for indicating the total of substances dissolved in water. It is used for evaluating the effectiveness of the osmotic membrane. It appears to be very useful in professional shrimp and plant farms. The measurement is conductometric which means that it is based on water conductivity that allows estimating the amount of dissolved salts. The result is given in ppm. It makes it easy to assess the level of water pollution. TDS-3 meets the requirements of the new approach Directives, i.e. it has the CE mark.
