These popular and extremely handy fittings comprise of a loop of 6mm diameter round elastic shock cord fitted to a 25mm diameter plastic ball. Widely used to secure tarpaulins, gazebo, tent, market stall and marquee sides etc. to frames and fixed points of all kinds. The shock cord loop will fit through any eyelet of 11mm internal diameter or larger. The large-diameter ball then comes up against the eyelet, offering a secure fix with even pressure minimising strain on both eyelet and canvas. The other end of the loop can then be fixed, either to a secure point like a fixed hook or peg, or alternatively may be passed around a frame and hooked back over the ball.
