Hi just wondering what year the outboard motor is and is it a short or long shaft.

the stamp on the outboard states 2007 as year of manufacture. But I bought it brand new in 2010. Since then its had no more than 3 hours use. It's literally brand new.

Its a long shaft.

@Crowey: I'll double check. I just stuck a tape on it last night in the dark - I'll check the spec plate on te engine today and let you know. I'm just wondering now because it was used on a small inflatible - lot smaller than 19ft...
