@mrkjdmcrx yes! Not at all. Its weather seized from sitting in the shed about 4 years. But some parts were taken now and then. Lots of parts left still and could well be got going again with some time and effort.
@mrkjdmcrx If you send me your number I can WhatsApp photos of how it looks now. I never saw it actually running And I never tested for compression But the fellow I bought it from told me that it was running OK. I just needed the gearbox off it at the time.
@irishdave09: Sorry for the delay. they're both on the engine but the plastic throttle linkage/connecting piece is missing.

My power unit is in working order but the plastic case that holds the bush’s in place is cracked (on the top part of the power unit). Would you have for sale? Or even a part of the unit?? Please give me a ring to discuss this further. Thanks.

would you have a coil and wiring to the spark plug for a 1969 Johnson 25 hp by any chance .the coil goes under neath the fly wheel but the wiring is pretty ratty ,.
@fleecem theres a slim chance that i might still have one of those but it might take me a while to find it under the pile in the shed.

@fleecem it seems to go out under the flywheel and then stops at a plastic socket. I assume that there's another cable that should continue to the spark plugs and maybe even a coil on that but i think that part isn't on this engine.
sorry its not the wire to the plugs its a condenser that has a broken wire so he will have to get just the coil what price is it inc postage to Kilkenny and if the condenser looks ok that as well or I will get anew one

A bit dear the last coil I got off you was €20 and €10 p&p a new condenser is €8 what the best you will do .

Looking for a recoil spring for a little late 60's Johnson seahorse twin. It's a double coil internal/ external for the old vertical geared starter. Could send you a pic but you probably know the one, used on Evinrude and OMCs of that era. Thank you.
