Vintage Brass Thomson-Bennett Magneto Ignition Switch (Pre-War / 1910s-1920s

Original and exceptionally well-preserved Thomson-Bennett heavy brass rotary magneto ignition switch. Dating from the 1910s / 1920s, this is a highly sought-after, period-correct component for veteran and vintage cars, commercial vehicles, or early motorcycles (such as JAP, Douglas, Triumph, etc.).

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful natural brass patina.

Functionality: 100% working order. The unit has been carefully opened and inspected (see photos). The internal diamond pointer contact plate is spotless, and the original internal coil spring mechanism is fully intact, giving a crisp, solid "click" detent when turning between ON and OFF.

Completeness: Uniquely complete. Unlike most examples, this switch includes all its original rear brass terminal posts, nuts, washers, and the two threaded brass alignment/fastening pins. Zero stripped threads or internal arcing damage. Ready to wire straight into a premium pre-war restoration project or display as high-quality automobilia.
