So one engine is running and the other needs repair, is that correct?

@cathalmckenna86, the Longshaft was running before I stopped using it and the Shortshaft was a project that I was looking to restore, it's free not seized and needs a spark lead. But that's all I know on that engine. Thanks

Hi, So is the coil still working or dead these are an expensive part to replace?

@mottlybrew the Longshaft was running fine when last used. So presuming the coil is good, I've never started the Shortshaft as it's missing the starter lead. Understand if the coil needs replacing but may not, I can take that into account and up to negotiating on the price for both. Thanks

Should be a 24mm socket light tapping with a mallet should help.

@mottlybrew yeah should be around Sunday, I added a few photos, didn't get the cover off fully as bit of a task single handed, couple of spare bits that came with the short shaft too. Thanks

@JGSW yes still available, should do I had it on a 30ft yacht and no issue not fast but strong enough to move around in and out of the harbour.
