It has a hydrostatic drive system, giving smooth, adjustable ground speed rather than fixed gears, so you can match your pace without the usual jerkiness of a standard self-propelled mower. The deck is magnesium with a replaceable polymer liner — a 22” deck with a 21.26” cutting width — so it’s lighter to push and manoeuvre than a steel-decked mower of the same size, while staying durable. It also has a Blade Brake Clutch, which lets you stop the blade and clear an obstacle without switching off the engine.
