Canon PIXMA PRO-10S professional A3+ pigment photo printer in excellent condition, fully working and very well looked after.
This is not a standard home inkjet. The PRO-10S was designed specifically for high-quality photographic and fine-art printing, using Canon's 10-colour LUCIA pigment ink system and supporting prints up to A3+ (13 × 19").
Excellent colour & black and white photography
The 10-colour system uses Photo Black, Matte Black, Grey, Cyan, Photo Cyan, Magenta, Photo Magenta, Yellow and Red, together with a dedicated Chroma Optimizer.
The additional photographic colours allow the PRO-10S to produce rich, accurate colours, smooth gradients and excellent fine detail, particularly in photographs where subtle colour transitions matter.
It's also particularly capable for black & white photography. Dedicated Photo Black, Matte Black and Grey inks provide smooth monochrome tonal transitions, deep blacks and excellent shadow detail.
The Chroma Optimizer is especially useful on glossy and semi-gloss photographic papers, helping to create a more uniform surface appearance and reduce the bronzing and uneven reflections often associated with pigment printing.
Being a pigment-based photographic printer, the PRO-10S is also very well suited to fine-art, exhibition and display prints where print quality and longevity are important.
Ink included
The printer currently has a complete set of cartridges installed. Current individual ink levels are shown in one of the photos, so you can see exactly what is currently in the machine. Several colours still have a useful amount remaining, while Photo Cyan, Magenta and Red are currently indicated as depleted / requiring replacement.
Also included:
• Genuine Canon PGI-72 Matte Black cartridge – brand new and unopened
• Approximately 6 brand-new/unopened LCL compatible replacement cartridges
• All cartridges currently installed in the printer
Running costs don't have to be expensive either. Good-quality compatible pigment cartridges that I've been using with this printer print extremely well and cost only around €6 per colour on Amazon, so replacing an individual depleted colour doesn't cost a fortune.
Large photo & specialist paper bundle included
I'm also including the large collection of photographic and specialist printing paper shown in the photos, approximately €100 worth of media in total when purchased.

Some packs have been opened or partially used, so the paper is included as the complete bundle pictured rather than with guaranteed individual sheet counts.
It's a great selection for somebody getting into serious photo printing, as you can immediately experiment with different sizes, surfaces and finishes without having to buy a load of different media separately.
Condition & connectivity
As you can see from the photos, the printer itself is in excellent cosmetic condition and has been very well looked after.
It supports Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB and handles a wide range of photographic media including glossy, semi-gloss, lustre, matte and specialist fine-art papers.
Reason for sale
I'm simply not using it enough anymore, and it seems a shame to have a printer of this quality and in this condition sitting around without being properly used.
I also need to free up the workspace for another 3D printer, so unfortunately the Canon has to make room.
I'd much rather it went to somebody interested in photography or fine-art printing who will actually make proper use of what the PRO-10S can do.
Collection only
Due to the size and weight of the PRO-10S, this is collection only. It's a substantial A3+ photographic printer and I'd rather not risk damaging it in shipping, particularly with ink already installed.
For a serious buyer I'm more than happy to power it up and produce a photo test print on collection, so you can see it operating and check the print quality yourself.
Just don't expect me to burn through a sheet of A3+ for the test
