Here are a wonderfully detailed pair of Indian Rosewood Marquetry oval panels.These are of a good size (17.5x12x.5") and have a very rich patina on the back..which only comes with mother time.The first is of a Prince being served refreshments by one of his servants..The faces,foliage and Palace in the background are all hand painted.The different colour woods on show bring a foreground and background to the piece.The second piece is of a herd of elephants and has a rich lustre with the choice of woods chosen.Both pieces are in lovely condition with no repairs or worm.Safe registered postage available for an additional five euro.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
