A collection of Original Artwork from Circa 1918-1950's Including Landscapes of New Zealand, Tasmania, Britain & Ireland By Lynes, George Gladstone

This unique collection comprises over 100 images, dating back to the 1920's/30's. Most are landscape watercolours with views of Cork, Kerry, Auckland, Hobart, London Hammersmith, Milford, Castor Bay, boating scenes, trees, scenic views, street scenes, buildings, rural views and more. There are even a few oil paintings and some sketches in black pencil. There is a small number of still life images. The pictures broadly range in size from approx 7 x 5 to 15 x 11 inches. Quite a lot of the images are signed and dated by the artist & in a minority of instances the places are identified. An interesting and colourful collection warranting further research. We have also on sale a collection of artwork by one time Cork & Dublin based based commercial artist Patricia Lynes who is related to this artist.
