Reverse glass painting (Hinterglasmalerei) after Julius Adam the Younger (1852–1913), the famous German “cat painter.”
It shows four kittens and is signed “J. Adam.” Late 19th / early 20th century reproduction, painted on the back of the glass, in an ornate gilt frame.
