Vintage Venetian Scene – "Canal della Giudecca" (1962)
Beautiful vintage mid-century reproduction of Francesco Guardi's famous Venetian landscape, The Canal della Giudecca and the Zattere.
This piece has lovely character and provenance, featuring the original gallery label on the reverse dated 6th February 1962. It is housed in a substantial, high-quality period frame with a gold-leaf style finish and a classic linen inset.
The ornate vintage wood and gesso frame (shows minor age-related wear/chipping which adds to the vintage charm, as seen in close up photos)
