Description

Asparagus setaceus
The lace fern is not a fern at all, but has gotten its name from its elegant frond like sprays. Starting out compact and busy, it will grow long stems of bright green, feathery fronds. A vigorous grower, it can reach 2.5m unless you keep it trimmed. It can also develop thorns, so be careful when handling.

May produce white flowers, which in tern become small, inedible berries.

Light: Bright, indirect sun - if the leaves turn yellow, it's not getting enough light.
Water: Needs to be well watered, but do not let it sit in water
Temperature: Above 13°C
Humidity: Benefits from misting
Height and Growth Rate: 35cm in height, grows fast so keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't become pot bound.
