This is a very easy to grow plant with broad green and purple leaves and looks very good in a hanging basket, is perfect as a house plant and garden plant ( summer season) ideal for macrame, windows boxes and as part of plant arrangements
Amazing colours In moderate light, the older leaves do not change colour. But in intense light, they darken dramatically through shades of dark greyish yellowish brown , moderate olive brown and dark greyish red.
Leaf undersides are dark purplish red to greyish purplish red . Leaf sheaths are strong yellow green - see pictures
