A historic pair of 1935 Royal Navy postcards featuring H.M.S. Shropshire and H.M.S. Vindictive.

Both cards are posted with King George V stamps and clear period postmarks, including Portsmouth & Southsea and Rochester & Chatham.

The H.M.S. Vindictive card includes a handwritten message stating it was written on board the ship, giving the pair a strong naval and social-history connection.

A lovely original pair for collectors of Royal Navy history, military postcards and British postal history.

Condition:
Used vintage condition as shown in photos. The H.M.S. Shropshire card has a visible vertical crease through the image and age-related handling marks. The H.M.S. Vindictive card presents well, with light age wear and handwritten message. Both cards are pleasing on the eye and retain strong historical naval character.
