Genuine Kirov Ballet Tour 1990 poster
Description
Genuine historic Entertainment Corporation poster for the Kirov Ballet ('direct from the USSR') on tour in Dublin, July 1990, at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS), Simmonscourt. Large format 51cm x 76cm. The poster features an exquisite image of principal ballet dancers Sylmuratova (born in Kazakhstan) and Ruzimatov (born in Uzbekistan) in a Swan Lake pose by photography Snowdon. The Kirov Ballet is now known as the Mariinsky Ballet. Poster stored rolled, a little scuffed on the right, but in general very good condition. The London tour poster sells for €90.
