Hi. If it's a motorbike jacket (i.e. you can use it to safely ride a motorbike), it should have protections on the shoulders, elbows and back. You should be able to feel hard rubber-type "padding" on those areas, definitely on shoulders and elbows. The back protector is generally optional but there should be a zipper on the inner lining of the jacket, usually near the waist.
