Do you have a functioning Mac for the Saffire to connect to? I'd be interested if you could change a setting in the software for me before posting
So you can use the software for the Saffire? Sorry I'm unfamiliar with firewire and thought it was mostly for Macs
I am looking to use the Saffire as an expander to my current interface but don't have any way to setup the Saffire for that purpose. If you could do it for me and mail it I would be happy to buy.
@Pearseh thanks for the offer but with my limited understanding of a Mac implementation this can only be done with hardware ie FireWire cable 800 from interface (provided) -FireWire converter to thunderbolt 2 - Thunderbolt 2 to 3 converter into usb c on the Mac… hope this helps Its easier to implement with a PC
